Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated Engineer Trainee – Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing concepts and hands-on experience in API testing and web application testing. Candidates with IoT domain knowledge and Python scripting experience will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and applying software testing methodologies to ensure software quality.
- Developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, and reporting them effectively.
- Conducting API testing and web application testing (Mandatory).
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to understand SDLC and improve testing efficiency.
- Enhancing test coverage using Python scripting (if applicable).
- Maintaining clear and concise documentation of test results and defect reports.
- Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and systems integrity.
Qualifications:
- Education: B. Tech / B.E. or higher qualification with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60%+ in academics (mandatory).
- Software Testing: Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
- API Testing & Web Application Testing: Mandatory hands-on experience in testing APIs and web applications.
- Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification (preferred).
- IoT Domain Knowledge: Experience or knowledge in IoT-based applications is a plus.
