The customer approached Softdel to implement the latest ZigBee 3.0 interface and Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) for their commercial wireless systems. The primary objective was to develop an integrated, next-generation fixture control solution that would cater to diverse requirements of commercial spaces, achieve reduced energy costs, and simplify the configuration of various functionalities like occupancy sensing and daylight harvesting. Additionally, the ZigBee interface needed to facilitate secure over-the-air (OTA) updates for devices across their entire connected ecosystem. - Additionally, the ZigBee 3.0 interface ensured the provision of secure over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates, enhancing the system's functionality and allowing for seamless upgrades.
